The Jaypee Hospital was built with the vision of promoting world-class healthcare amongst the masses by providing quality and affordable medical care. The client wished to use vinyl flooring in their entire hospital for patient rooms, pediatric areas, ICUs and operation theatres. The flooring needed to ensure safety and good hygiene and meet the requirement of hospital flooring.
Solution:
We recommended using a mix of IQ optima, homogeneous vinyl floorings and Tapiflex, heterogeneous vinyl flooring range depending upon the architects' design. The operation theatres were provided with iQ Toro SC flooring. iQ Toro SC is a high-quality static control flooring with an electrical resistance of 5 x 10^4-10^6 ohms. It is developed for use in operating theatres, x-ray rooms and laboratories. For the pediatric area Tapiflex range of products were used. Tapiflex flooring enables easy cleaning, sound absorption and multiple designs and vibrant colours for different areas. These products were also anti-bacterial and fungi which improved hygiene of the patients. This project was completed in 2015. We have supplied over 250,000 sq ft of hospital flooring to this facility.
