Ashwin Medical College & Hospital Limited was established with the aim of making high-quality healthcare accessible to all, offering excellent medical services at affordable rates. The client's objective was to implement vinyl flooring throughout the hospital, including patient rooms, pediatric areas, ICUs, and operation theaters. The flooring needed to ensure safety and good hygiene, germ free and seamless flooring to meet the requirement of hospital flooring.
Solution:
We recommended using a mix Eclipse Premium & Toro SC of Homogeneous Vinyl Flooring range depending upon the architect's design. For the operation theaters, IQ Toro SC flooring was recommended. iQ Toro SC is a high-quality flooring specifically designed for use in operating theaters, x-ray rooms, and laboratories. It has excellent static control properties with an electrical resistance ranging from 5 x 10^4 to 10^6 ohms. It comes with a clean room test for floorings and is also carbon backed from manufacturing
In the pediatric area, we proposed using the Tapiflex range of products. Tapiflex flooring offers several benefits such as easy cleaning, sound absorption, and a variety of designs and vibrant colors suitable for different areas. These products also possess anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties, which contribute to maintaining a hygienic environment for the patients.
All the other patient areas of the hospital have Eclipse Premium as flooring which is a no wax no polish range of static control flooring with multi colour welding rods. We have supplied over 200,000 sq ft of hospital flooring to this facility, and completed the project in 2016
