Requirement:
The client is one of the oldest hospital institutions and was planning to renovate part of their hospital. Other than the regular hospital requirements of bacteria and fungi free flooring, seamless and non porous they also wanted flooring which was lighter than traditional stone. The building structure being an old one cannot take the added weight load on the same. They also wanted a wall vinyl solution for the same in operation theatres.
Solution:
We recommended using IQ range of Vinyl floorings in all the ICU’s and patient areas. We also suggested that conductive flooring be used in the operation theatres and wallgard our specialized wall solution for hospitals be used on the walls as this has similar properties as flooring and can be welded onto the walls.
