The client is one of the oldest hospital institutions and was planning to renovate part of their hospital. Other than the regular hospital requirements of bacteria and fungi free flooring, seamless and non porous they also wanted hospital flooring which was lighter than traditional stone. The building structure being an old one cannot take the added weight load on the same. They also wanted a wall vinyl covering solution for the same in operation theaters.
Solution:
We recommended using IQ range of Vinyl floorings in all the ICU and patient areas. We also suggested that conductive flooring be used in the operation theatres and wallgard.
