Requirement:
Client wanted a non-porous floor for their employee cafeteria. The floor should be seamless, easy to maintain, hygienic, and acoustic to reduce noise levels during the busy lunch. The office flooring should be able to withstand spillage of any kinds of foods and grease stains and normal chair and table movement. They also wanted a bright colorful product wherein designs could be created to give a nice aesthetic look to the cafeteria.
Solution:
We suggested heterogeneous vinyl flooring made by Tarkett from the Tapiflex range. Functionally it's a commercial floor with Class 34 commercial classification and was welded making it seamless. The product is non porous, does not allow bacteria and fungi to grown and very easily maintainable. The products improve acoustics in a room by approx. 13dB and are a perfect floor for an area where you need the floor to play an acoustic role.
