The Mahatma Gandhi Mission (MGM) New Bombay Hospital, Vashi is one of the most advanced multi-specialty tertiary care centers in the heart of Navi Mumbai. The hospital requires hospital flooring solutions that prioritize safety, promote good hygiene, and meet the specific requirements of healthcare environments.
Solution:
We suggested our Homogeneous Vinyl Flooring from the Eclipse Premium Vinyl Floors product range for its durability and safety. It was used in all the critical areas like operation rooms and patient wards. It is PUR reinforced and will need no wax or polish for life. The VOC emissions are 100 times lower than the strictest standards in Europe, making it an ideal flooring solution for healthcare facilities. Its anti- bacterial and anti-fungal properties made it hygienic which was critical for the health of the patients. Wallguard Vinyl Wall Covering from the Wall Vinyl covering range was also used in specific areas as per requirement. The Wallguard wall covering provided high-performance protection against staining, mechanical damage, water, and other fluids. The heat-welded seams were complemented by color-coordinated rods, enhancing the overall aesthetic appeal of the environment. The flooring and wall cladding installation encompassed numerous areas such as ICUs, Cath labs, X-ray rooms, CT scan rooms, corridors, and more. This project was completed in Dec 2018.
