DLF Mall of India is India’s largest shopping mall. It is the first destination mall of the country and is spread across the retail space of 2 million sqft. It has 333 stores operating currently. Client needed a colourful, rainbow like flooring which would add vibrancy to the kids’ play area. The client also wanted the flooring to be hygienic and kid friendly (ensuring the kids do not get hurt if they fall)
Solution:
Rainbow like cut-outs were flawlessly executed using Acczent Excellent Ruby product. The designs had rounded edges for a well defined look which would be child friendly. They added zing to the cartoon themed play zone. The Acczent Excellent Ruby, a product from our heterogeneous vinyl flooring, gave an additional acoustic control reducing the ambient noise of the area. A surface embossing provides Ruby with a R10 slip resistance to reduce the risk of slipping and falling. This project was completed in June 2016.
