IBM is by far the world's largest information technology company in terms of revenue and by most other measures, a position it has held for about the past 50 years. IBM products include hardware and software. Increasingly, IBM derives revenue from a range of consulting and outsourcing services. The client needed outdoor deck for their open spaces. These needed to be safe, withstand heavy rainfall and be pleasing to the eye.
Solution:
We suggested long decks of Composite Merbau from our outdoor flooring range. They came in ribbed planks which were anti-slip and offered great safety in monsoons. With oiling they were also guarded against the wear and tear that occurs with time. The long decks, in red hue, lent an upscale look to the ambience. Composite Merbau is a product that combines the hardness and solidity of natural bamboo with state-of-the-art technology. It is environment friendly, 100% recyclable and made with a blend of bamboo powder, thermoplastics and additives which make it highly flexible and impact resistant. This project was completed in May 2016.
