The client is a pediatric hospital and was looking for specialized hospital flooring. The client also wanted cheerful colors. The client was looking to create designs using cheerful colours and hence wanted a huge colour pallet in the product. The designs were to be made without compromising the functionality of the hospital flooring Hygiene, indoor air quality, infection control etc
Solution:
We suggested using IQ Optima vinyl floor which have more than 100 colors in the color pallets. The same was used with capping cum coving to ensure that all functionality was fulfilled. As per the architect and clients design each room had different designs, patterns and in lays available so that the desired effect could be reached and a cheerful hospital be made for our little clients. We executed the entire facility in 2013. IQ optima homogeneous vinyl flooring also provides slip resistance to support patient mobility wheelchair movement, walking aids, roller mobility etc and has exceptional resistance to bacteria as well.
