Chakrabarti Eye Care Centre is a leading eye care hospital in Trivandrum, Kerala. It is a tertiary care center that provides high-quality ophthalmic care to the underprivileged. Over the past 10 years, the hospital has served thousands of patients and performed over 1,000 surgeries per year. The flooring needed to ensure safety and good hygiene and meet the requirement of hospital flooring.
Solution:
We suggested the client to use Primo SD Vinyl Floors, Eclipse Premium Vinyl Floors & Wallguard Vinyl Floors from our Homogeneous Vinyl Flooring & Aquerelle Wall from our Wall Vinyl Flooring Collection. Primo SD is a static control flooring that provides best in class functional performance. It is also produced with phthalate-free technology, making it a safe and hygienic option. The flooring has VOC emissions that are 100 times lower than the strictest standards in Europe, making it ideal for use in healthcare facilities. Wallgard Vinyl Floors' wall covering offered solution for the areas that needed special protection. They provided high performance protection from staining, mechanical damage and from water and other fluids. Their heat welded seams came with colour coordinated rods which made the ambience look attractive. Flooring and wall cladding was executed for their OTs. Aquerelle wall is a PVC wall covering that is especially suitable for use in wet areas. It does not contribute to the spread of infections. It is available in 2-meter widths and is 0.92 mm thick. This project was completed in Jan 2019.
